Such simple aspirations,  Are becoming complex complications,  Once distant revelations  
Turn to history's observations.   
Moving memories ahead,  We push the future back,  Gathering treasures as we go,  And adding weights upon our backs.   
Now intentions close at hand,  Leave only footprints in the sand  While dreams from which I awake  
Only tend to make me late.

The Pause Within the StormTHE PAUSE WITHIN THE STORM   
 
 
Now it isn't what we say, "It's how we say it"  And it isn't how it is, "Its how we make it"  It isn't what we know...  It's what we feel,  It's what we give,  It's how we make the life we live...  It's how we know.   
It starts out with a Splash,  Unto a sterile sanitary view...,  And moves into the masses,  A Man-Made homosapien zoo...  We learn what we are taught and acquire what we have bought...  Looking towards the ultimate of possible views...,  We struggle for what we have no use.
